The making of this album was a journey, and now that it is finished after all these years, I feel that the story of it cannot simply be told musically, as something important would be missing. The stories of the wonderful people who have accompanied me along this path, and how I first met them, are integral to understanding the music. I will always be moved by their dedication and energy.

Much of the energy that went into this album arose from our connections to one another, and the special encounters that brought us together. This is that story, and this is also the inner soul of the album.
